St. Francis School -- Assessment & Testing
St. Francis School does not require an entrance examination as part of the admissions process. It does ask that any previous testing information, along with an applicant's previous school records, be submitted to the school.
All St. Francis students take the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS) every spring. This gives both parents and teachers valuable information on the overall academic progress of each student. However, the ITBS test results are in no way linked to the promotion of a child from one grade level to the next.
