Amy Degner-Board Member

Amy Degner has been part of the St. Francis community since 2018 when her son started first grade.  She joined the Board in September 2021.  As a parent at St Francis, Amy has volunteered in various roles from helping in classrooms to serving lunch and also as a substitute librarian in the SFS library.  Amy also held leadership and volunteer positions at The Girls’ School of Austin and Adelphi Acres Community Garden. Currently, Amy is a product marketing manager at a local company, where she is responsible for go-to-market activities.  

Amy has a Master’s in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Texas.  She and her husband have lived in Austin for nearly 30 years.  Their son attends St. Francis and their daughter is a student at The Girls' School of Austin.
